What: A virtual trucking company known as The Simulator Radio VTC will host a convoy on a virtual trucking game known as Euro Truck Simulator 2. Each Truck will be painted in purple and will begin a 2,000 mile trip beginning at 8pm GMT on 24th March & finishing at Midnight. The truck & paint job can be seen in this image,

3] Beyond the wind - cycling tour for epilepsy

What: Call for citizens, no matter what the background of participants, to ride bicycles for over 30 kilometers together with us, to support people with epilepsy. All the participants will wear hamlets with purple ribbons.

What: Florida Epilepsy Alliance is a collaboration of epilepsy services provider agencies in Florida who provide services, education and advocacy for persons with epilepsy in the State of Florida. The Alliance annually advocates to State Legislators on behalf of persons with epilepsy with this event.

8] Epilepsy Awareness, Go Purple!

What: This event will focus on creating awareness and support for epilepsy and people living with epilepsy. We want to make students in the Junior high school of my community to become ambassadors of epilepsy awareness and support. This is to reduce stigmatisation of such persons which is a problem in this part of the world. They would be taught how to give first Aid treatment without fear (since the perception of people here is that you can contract the disease by touching the individual or getting in contact with his/her saliva. Moreover, we would be advocating for a change of mind so as to allow them live a decent live and reduce poverty by been involved in an economic activity. We would invite people with epilepsy, local educationist, politicians, media, health workers and traditional leaders to the event. Above all we need support by way of monies to execute this task. We need to print branded purple T-shirts, posters and bands, refreshments for guests and people living with epilepsy, transport, etcetera.

18] Paint RTB Purple for Ethan

What:Ethan was diagnosed with Alternating Hemiplegia Syndrome on January 12, 2015, He is one in a million babies who has this syndrome. Due to Epileptic episodes on the young age of 4Months old he started showing signs of falling behind in the usual phases babies go through, like crawling, motor function, eventually walking and speech. Ethan has to date spent weeks in hospital and is currently fed through a feeding tube and has to receive regular Physiotherapist Treatment and Specialist visits for monitor his progress and medication.
Thus a Trust was set up and funds are needed, with this event we would like to try and get people aware of Epilepsy as well as raise funds for medical bills for his last stay in Hospital ended 11 December 2017 For the full story please feel free to email me
