Diploma in Computer Applications & Assistive Technology

The "Diploma in Computer Applications & Assistive Technology" course offered by NAB Delhi,
which is specially designed for candidates with visual impairments and includes the NIIT Foundation certificate course, is indeed a remarkable opportunity.

Course Specifics:

Training Duration: 3 months, from February 1, 2024, to April 30, 2024.
Last Date to Apply: January 10, 2024 - Apply Here
Training Mode: Offline.

Selection candidate applicable for registration fee

Registration Fee: Rs. 2000 (include NIIT Exam fee)
Course Fee: Free of cost.

Selection Process: Telephonic Interviews and tests will be conducted for applicants based outside of Delhi,
while interviews will be conducted in-person at NAB Delhi for applicants from Delhi.
Class Timings: 10:00 am to 04:00 pm; Monday to Saturday (Except 2nd Saturday).
Accommodation: Available with limited seats (Paid).

Eligibility Criteria:

Visually Impaired candidates (blind/low-vision).
Age 18 and above.
Minimum educational qualification required is 12th.
Fluency in English (written and spoken) will be an advantage.

Course Topics:

Assistive technology basics, including Screen Reader, magnifier, and OCR.
Word Processing (MS Word).
Spreadsheet Package (Microsoft Excel).
Internet Browsing.
E-mail handling.

What You Will Learn:

Soft Skills and Professional Skills, including time management, communication skills, assertiveness, and decision-making skills.
Language Skills, encompassing listening, speaking, writing, reading, comprehension, and introduction skills.
CV Preparation and Interview Skills.
