  • What's New In This Month

    Events

    • The month of May is eagerly awaited by all. The children are relieved from annual exams & studies, the parents are free from taking up studies and running around their children to check whether they are prepared for the exams or no.The scenario is the same with few little changes here & there. If the children are having special needs and in mainstream schools then the academic portion is tweaked to suit their capacities, accommodations are made to see that they achieve their full potential. Same goes for the professionals in the field. They are also constantly on their toes. And finally everyone gets their deserved break. The Summer Holidays! Nearly for a month and a half, everyone gets to recharge their batteries. Indulge in hobbies, laze around, go on a vacation or sometimes parents utilise this time to bridge the gap which their child is facing with extra therapies.

Nowadays, Accessibility devices are bridging the gap beautifully between the user with special needs and any learning experience. Accessibility , be it in web technology or in physical space are successful in bringing them at par with other members of society. This month , we will be celebrating GAAD- Global Accessibility Awareness Day on 18th, third Thursday in May. People are encouraged to discuss, debate and educate themselves on digital access issues on the occasion of GAAD.

We will be sharing an article on GAAD to explain the term in detail. Stay tuned. View more
